1962-65 | Black (7) frame, forks, headlamp nacelle, chaincase and oil tank. Mudguards and side covers metallic green (39) and petrol tank metallic green with chrome-plated side panels lined gold (38). Pear-shaped tank badges and round winged BSA badges on side covers. Star badge on points cover for early models only. Chrome-plated wheel rims, headlamp rim and exhaust system. Silver sheen hubs and brake backplates with polished rims. All-black option also available. |

1969-70 | As 1968 except colour aircraft flamboyant blue and side covers lined as mudguards so code of both is 229 and petrol tank is 228. Code for the blue by itself is 227. New side cover transfers each year. |
