My Attempts To Record The Spirit Of Motorcycling
I enjoy Photography almost as much as I enjoy riding Motorcycles. Over the years I've developed something of a preffered style. I enjoy not only photographing the machine, but trying to incoporate it within the surroundings. Often this will be clearly evident in the background I choose. Old Garage , Fuel Pumps etc. Or the dramatic landscapes of East Anglia.
My Equipment
Video
GoPro Black - using various gimbles and clamps. My preffered clamp is by Manfrotto.
I use a DJI Osmo Handheld Gimbal when filming for more than a few seconds.
DSLR always at 1080p
Stills
Mainly My IPhone set at the highest resolution. I try to use a tripod, my Benbo or Manfrotto. When I use a tripod, I use an electronic release. I use a Nikon DSLR when I have an idea that warrants a higher resolution.
Airborne
DJI Drone@1080/60
Editing
Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, iMovie when I am rushed.
I typically shoot on my iPhone, and on occasions that dictate more control with my Nikon DSLR. Carry the larger camera and often a tripod is challenging on some of the motorcycles. But I think the results are worth it. Take a moment to peep at the gallery, and hopefully the next few paragraphs will make sense.
